Jaedon Jenkins Jaedon Jenkins 5'5" | PG/SG West Orange | 2028 State NJ possesses a lot of the necessary tools to continue to develop into a reliable, pass first floor general, showcasing a combination of ball security, composure against pressure, and advanced playmaking instincts. Jenkins handles the ball confidently and displays a strong feel for dissecting defenses and his comfort level as a floor reader was increasingly evident, as he consistently made sound reads and decisions with the ball in his hands— consistently keeping his eyes up and recognizing passing windows before they fully develop, creating opportunities to establish and sustain offensive flow. Most of the time in showcase settings, it’s easy for prospects to fall into forcing isolation action and being over zealous off the bounce, however it was impressive to see Jenkins remain committed to be a willing distributor of the basketball and making the right play.

Jenkins might have been one of the shorter prospects at the Expo, but that didn’t stop him from making plays on the ball. The 5’4 guard used his handle to get into the lane and was able to find his open teammates in the half court. Jenkins also showed the ability to score in the mid-range and has a nice release on his jumper. He was unafraid of diving on the floor for loose balls and played off the ball as well. Jenkins will get the opportunity to make plays at both ends of the floor, which should help his stock over the next couple of months.
