Jae Houston Jae Houston 6'3" | CG/SF Paragon Academy | 2028 State NV is a strong defender due to his length, athleticism, and instincts. He has a good feel for when his opponents are trying to go up with it, which allows him to swat shots. Houston can also get his long arms in passing lanes, and is capable of pushing the ball in transition if he collects a steal.
Houston is with team Still I Rise this spring/summer.

Coming in at #32 is Jae Houston Jae Houston 6'3" | CG/SF Paragon Academy | 2028 State NV . He’s on Democracy Prep’s JV team this season and is essentially a big guard. When I’ve watched him play, I noticed that he takes big strides and can get to the cup quicker than his opponents anticipate. Houston can also knock down shots from beyond the 3 point line. In addition to his scoring abilities, Houston plays some quality defense.

I was able to watch Houston play in one of the JV fall league games a few weeks ago. Overall, I liked what I saw. His top skills appeared to be rebounding and defense. The other thing I noticed is that he has the frame and athleticism needed to thrive in high school basketball. If he can continue to develop his offensive game, he’ll be a name that becomes more well known.

Long lean prospect caught my eye while running with CME Bulls. Houston is an active incoming freshman with the ability to score off putbacks. He will be another addition to what is shaping up as a loaded Democracy Prep class.
