Scales glided down the court with poise and purpose, using steady pace and keen floor awareness to either finish, kick, or drop off once he got to the paint. On defense, his anticipation and quick-twitch instincts shined, he read passing lanes like a free safety, constantly swiping steals and sparking transition opportunities. His all-around effort separated him from the rest of the guard group.
