I would label Rogers as the best pure shooter in the 13th region. Off the dribble, spot up, off the ball, it does not matter. Jacob can get his name on the stat sheet and fill it up fast. Jackson County was able to hold Jacob to 12 points on 4 of 8 shooting at a staggering 50%. Jacob will look to build on that performance Friday night in the district championship game.

One of the scariest shooters from the arc that the region has to offer! When he gets hot, you won’t find a better shooter. He can take it off the dribble, or catch and shoot. Do not leave this man open, if you do three points will be added to the scoreboard! Jacob has taken 172 three point shots and made 62 of them for 37.5% on the year.

Making the move from Oneida Baptist to Clay County, Rogers suddenly gives the Tigers a point guard option that they really needed. Jacob averaged 18 points per game for OBI last season and should help the offensive output for Clay on a nightly basis. He should be a difference maker in the 13th this season.
