Dunning had an impressive sophomore season and his ceiling is high heading into the new year. While averaging 26 minutes per game he put up strong numbers. 15.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists while providing relentless energy and hustle that kept him involved in every play. Dunning is a nightmare matchup in the post, using excellent footwork and technique to back down defenders and create high percentage looks. His ability to control the glass through strong box outs makes him a major asset on both ends of the floor. With his production, physicality, and motor, Dunning is poised to be one of the most impactful players in his conference with Lamar

Dunning has been on fire of late, putting up 20+ points in three of his last five games with Lamar. An intriguing combo forward with the 4A program, his wide ranging abilities as both a floor spacer and high motor rebounder make him a name that collegiate programs should have their eyes on through the coming seasons. 

Dunning’s relentless motor alongside consistency behind the arc have made him a well rounded name at the 3A level, propelling Lamar towards a 6-2 record early on. Posting 17.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, the forward is a physical name who looks to attack the rim if the perimeter is not open. Capable of pumping and driving for finishes at the rim, he has done well to draw fouls, ultimately pressuring the defense however possible. Defensively, his size and activity is differencemaker at this level, not to mention that Lamar has about as much size as any program at the 3A level.
