Demayo’s value went well beyond the stat sheet. He’s a bit undersized, but his hustle and distribution skills allowed him to make an impact. When double teams and full-court press forced him into the corner, he never panicked, repeatedly popping the ball out to an open teammate and keeping the offense moving. He was the first player on his team back on defense and fearless when it came to putting his body on the line. He flashed impressive passing instincts and repeatedly found ways to make steals in traffic. A well-rounded hustle player who did all the dirty work to help his team win.

Compact point guard with above average quickness and a tight controlled handle. Demayo has a low dribble and uses his burst with he ball to create opportunities while keeping his head up to distribute. Showed well timed vision with a backdoor passes and strong cross court passes with plenty of zip. Defensively bought extra pressure in the backcourt at times to find turnover opportunities. Brings a nice amount of instinct on both sides as a lead guard.
