McGuinness’ core of sophomores and freshman is intriguing and on Saturday it was the lanky wing who stood out. Hit big time shots from three throughout the second half vs Edmond Memorial. Which those threes seemed to shift momentum to the Irish every time as they rallied. His development will be interesting thanks to his long wingspan, had a nice block against Santa Fe that hinted at his potential to become a reliable “3 and D” wing for the Irish.

played well on both ends of the court. He played great defense, both interior and on-ball. On offense, he flashed potential to be a good shooter and finish inside. On multiple occasions, he drove and finished in traffic or he drew the foul. Lastly, he made a good impact rebounding the ball. He came away with one board after another on multiple occasions. It was a great event for him all-around, as his team went 3-2. Both of the losses were close and he played an important factor in all of their wins.
