About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a pass-first point guard with strong court vision and the ability to see the entire floor and anticipate cuts before they happen. I focus on creating opportunities for my teammates, but I can also create my own shot when needed. Even though I’m on the smaller side, I’m able to navigate traffic, see through defenders, and attack the rim effectively. I take pride in my defense and led the confer

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play with a competitive mindset and high energy. I take pride in doing the little things that help the team win, whether that’s defense, hustle plays, or making the extra pass. I stay locked in, play hard every possession, and bring intensity without losing composure.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In addition to basketball, I compete in Cross Country and Baseball and am involved in Play 4 Him. I have been recognized as Academic All-Conference for my performance in the classroom.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through competing in multiple sports, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. As a point guard, I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, stay composed under pressure, and put my teammates in positions to succeed. Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I transferred schools and had to wait 90 days to become varsity eligible. That was challenging because I had to stay patient and focused while not being able to compete at the varsity level right away. What type of college are you looking for?

I’m still in the learning process and keeping an open mind about the type of college I’m looking for. My main priorities are finding a strong academic fit, a competitive basketball program where I can continue to develop, and a coaching staff that values hard work and team culture. I’m open to exploring different levels and campuses to find the best overall fit for me both on and off the court.
