About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

On the court I'm a high- IQ guard known for my shooting range, leadership and unselfish play. With strong court vision and the ability to make plays under pressure, I thrive in both fast-paced and half-court situations.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I take pride in being a reliable leader and a competitor who brings energy on both ends of the floor. I'm coachable, I train hard and I'm committed to growth.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I spend the majority of my time training and most recently studying finance/stocks in my spare time.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Annually, I volunteer 10+ hours to community service, I’m an ambassador for my high school, and I travel once a year out of state on a mission trip to help underserved communities. I am also a camp coach at my school for the elementary and middle school boys summer camps.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

We’ve had a great deal of adversity with my high school basketball team. We lost two nationally ranked players (back to back years), lost our head coach to personal issues, had a new coach for one year, then another new coach for a couple weeks, and now started with what will be my 4th coach in just over two years. It’s been a rollercoaster but made me a better leader and devoted player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that can utilize my skill set and where I can be a contributor to the program. I’m looking for a program that will push and challenge me to be better every day. I’m looking for a school that’s a great fit both on and off the court.
