Jackson is a 44/37/76 splits guy from the winter that scored 12.5 points a game. There is a little more playmaking juice from Bruce compared to some of the other wings. Jackson has a good handle and good first step for a wing that allows him to get to space to shoot, pass, or rotate the ball and hurt the defensive rotations.

I think the natural ability and skill is there to play a few spots at the next level, Jackson really has a knack for separation, and when those dribbles are used when the defense is scrambling and moving (as opposed to set), Jackson can be a great weapon for an offense.

Bruce has Spring Hill rolling right now, highlighted by an impressive road win over a very talented Baldwin squad. Jackson has been logging heavy minutes during this stretch and has made his presence felt on both ends of the floor. He stuffed the stat sheet against Baldwin, finishing with 18 points, six rebounds, four steals, and three assists.

On the defensive end, Jackson has shown the ability to guard nearly every position, using his strength and basketball IQ to be effective when switching onto different perimeter players and holding his ground in the post when needed. Offensively, he appears to have taken a clear step forward, confidently pulling up from all areas of the court and staying in rhythm while knocking down tough, contested shots. His size on the perimeter gives him excellent balance and allows him to play through contact when attacking the basket.

Don’t look now, but Spring Hill may be playing its best basketball of the season at the perfect time — setting the stage to be a tough out when the postseason tips off in just a few weeks.

Jackson was one of the most impactful underclassmen in the gym on Saturday, showcasing a mature feel for the game. He repeatedly broke down defenders off the dribble, playing downhill with confidence and attacking the rim aggressively. Bruce also flashed the ability to finish through contact — absorbing bumps and still converting around the basket. As a passer, he displayed good vision, often recognizing reads early and delivering a variety of passes that led directly to scoring opportunities. Defensively, Bruce made his presence felt by locking in on the ball. He consistently disrupted drives and did an excellent job keeping opposing guards out of the paint.

Jackson proved to be a dependable guard with a high basketball IQ, thriving especially when playing off the ball. He has a strong understanding of both his own game and how to complement his teammates. One of his standout strengths is his perimeter shooting, paired with a calm, controlled pace that keeps him from getting sped up. Bruce also consistently played off two feet, showing balance and poise in key moments.

Jackson is a confident shooter who brings energy and spacing to the floor with his ability to knock down shots from deep. He loves to shoot the ball and isn’t afraid to let it fly, making him a constant threat from the perimeter. His shooting range forces defenders to extend, helping to open up driving lanes and create opportunities for his teammates. By consistently stretching the defense, Jackson plays a key role in keeping the offense flowing and putting pressure on opponents to defend the entire court.
