Jack Breindel has already accomplished quite a bit, yet he still feels underappreciated outside District 9. The Elk County Catholic point guard earned Second Team All-District 9 honors as a sophomore after averaging 10 points per game while helping the Crusaders capture the District 9 Class 1A championship. Breindel’s defense is one of the first things that stands out. He has quick hands, anticipates well and makes opposing guards uncomfortable with his pressure. He is more athletic than he initially appears. He has a good enough shot beyond the arc to force defenses to respect it. Breindel has a quick first step and he gets into the lane faster than defenders expect. He has a good mid-range game and a quality floater. He isn’t flashy, but Jack Breindel is a proven winner that any coach at the DIII level would love to have on their team.

Breindel is a reliable perimeter threat who excels playing off the ball and spacing the floor. He consistently makes defenses pay when left open, knocking down shots from beyond the arc with confidence. In addition to his scoring ability, he shows a strong feel for the game and does a great job finding teammates in positions to score. Breindel also impacts the game on the glass, staying active in rebounding situations and using his strength to establish solid positioning inside. His combination of shooting, playmaking, and toughness makes him a valuable contributor on both ends of the floor.
