Fitzpatrick largely flew under the radar in the small-school New Jersey public landscape while scoring over 1,000 points at Henry Hudson HS, but looks to be making the most of his post-grad year thus far with a smooth, translatable skillset that could warrant scholarship-level attention as he proves himself further. The sweet-shooting guard helped keep things within striking distance with a pair of 2nd-quarter triples before adding another in the final minutes to aid in Bridgeport’s thrilling comeback with an 11-point effort. With solid positional size and flashes of skill and IQ off the bounce, he’s far from a one-trick pony with the type of plug-and-play skillset that college coaches covet.
