Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Carter, a forward out of the St. Sebastian’s School in Massachusetts, checks in at #8 among the power forwards and #67 overall. Playing as an undersized big for St. Sebastian’s this winter, Carter has impressed with his willingness to embrace physicality and to make an impact on the boards against opponents that normally have a height and size advantage. Offensively, he does a great job of using his quickness and footwork to his advantage as a low post scorer, but also shows the ability to step out to the perimeter, where his athleticism and skill allow him to make plays off the bounce when attacking the rim.

Carter, another sophomore at St. Sebastians, impressed me quite a bit with his offensive skillset and feel this weekend. He isn’t a freak athlete but he has excellent footwork around the rim and does a good job extending for finishes at the hoop. The 6-foot-4 wing also had a nice fadeaway move and made some shots from the perimeter, so he clearly has the ability to score at all three levels. Carter has a strong body for his age and is more than ready to play at this level right now.
