One of the most relentlessly positive players you’ll find, Bachelor is a cheerleader for everyone who competes. You’ll find him in the stands at a volleyball or football game, going crazy for his school mates. He is equally willing to share the spotlight on the basketball court. But when Rural needed a play made, he was always ready to give it his all, even when thrust into games as an undersized freshman. When the school graduated a lot of talent two years ago, Bachelor willingly took on a much bigger role. It forced him to do things that might stretch his skill set, but he’ll do whatever it takes to help his team.

Bachelor did all he could for a Washburn Rural team that changed over a lot from the previous year. He impressed enough to start drawing college interest. He then played on a challenging level with Marcus Denmon over the summer, further adding to his game. He’s long for a shooting guard. He’s cerebral and experienced, having been in the Junior Blues’ rotation since his freshman year. He’s grown since then and will now have the size/athleticism advantage he hasn’t had the past three years.

Another talented and versatile guard in this class who picked up a Washburn offer in the summer. Elite off the ball with his basketball IQ reading screens, understanding spacing, and willingness to relocate off passes and post entries. One of the most consistent shooters from all three levels in Kansas and is super efficient. Great range and stroke from the three point line, big time one dribble pull up or into a floater game, and is a crafty paint finisher. Competes on the defensive end as well.
