Paul provided consistent production and leadership for Alma Center Lincoln, filling up the stat sheet on both ends. His athleticism and motor stood out, especially in transition and on the boards. He averaged 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game. Paul shined in a win over Eau Claire Immanuel, posting 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals, and finishing above the rim multiple times in transition.
Paul is a game-changing all-around talent for Alma Center Lincoln, averaging 19.6 points per game and 8 rebounds last season. With stout scoring ability, he is also a highly skilled shot blocker and a key defensive player, averaging 2.5 steals per game. His strong presence on the glass and exceptional playmaking abilities are notable. Heading into his senior year, the combination of leadership with his scoring, rebounding, defensive, and passing prowess makes Paul a player capable of guiding the Hornets to a great season.
One of the most mobile and versatile players in the state, Paul is a potential double/double every time he steps onto the court. His size and skill are positives for coach Jeremy Hanson’s squad. A year ago, Paul averaged 19.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists as Alma Center Lincoln finished 22-5. A two-time first-team all-Dairyland Conference performer, Paul dropped a career-high 32 points in a playoff win over Port Edwards last season. He is also very good at getting to the basket and drawing fouls.
Paul impacts a game in a positive manner in almost every way possible for Alma Center Lincoln. A high-energy player with good size and length, Paul can score, rebound, pass and defend. He is coming off consecutive first-team all-Dairyland Conference honors and headlines a very talented team for coach Jeremy Hanson. Paul put up some impressive numbers as a junior, helping Alma Center Lincoln to a 22-5 record by averaging 19.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.5 steals. Paul is a four-year varsity player for the Hornets and starts his senior year with 1,267 points.
Jace stands at 6’4” and is able to play wherever his team needs him. He is built like a forward, but looked more than comfortable handling the ball, sometimes even running the point for his team. He impressed me most with his ability to create for himself on the perimeter, hitting tough looks off the dribble. Paul can also use his size to get inside for finishes through contact, driving downhill or working in the post.
Paul has all the tools to play at the next level. The senior guard put up an eye-popping stat line of 19.6 points, 8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.5 steals per game in his junior campaign.
