Isaiah is a poised player who used the showcase to highlight his basketball IQ. Playing on a talented team, he stood out by running the offense, scoring when needed and facilitating otherwise. He took over during the 5-on-5 sessions and used his size effectively but just making plays. He has an advanced grasp on pace and on top of all that his leadership, shot-making, and craftiness around the goal earned him Freshman MVP honors. This puts him on the radar and in the conversation as a top player in the 2030 class.

Isaiah was one of the top defensive players in the showcase. He is tough and fierce in his approach and made opponents suffer with his ball pressure and tenacity. Offensively he understands the game and makes the right plays to create offense for himself and for teammates. Isaiah is truly a dude you want on your team and definitely not someone you want to have to match up against. It will be exciting to watch how his game unfolds in the future!

Johnson steps into his freshman season at Lincoln Prep as a State Champion and starting Point Guard with a big role in the overall team success. He has already shown that he has the skill and hoop understanding to manage a game. In a tough match up vs Evangel he also showed that he can knock down shots and handle intense pressure. Johnson is a poised PG with immense upside and a bright future.
