Brown has an impressive offseason with Lakeland Elite, showing his ability to be a productive lead guard. The rising sophomore is a smart, skilled floor general who, he shoots the ball with confidence. He takes care of the basketball and makes good decisions. Brown changes speeds effectively to keep defenders off balance and understands how to use ball screens to create advantages at the offensive end.

I have seen Brown three times in the last twelve months, and to his credit, he has shown improvements each time. He plays at his own pace and has a unique ability to see the floor differently than his peers. Brown is well-rounded in several aspects of the game. He has a solid jumper, solid ball-handling skills, solid passing, and solid defense. While he may not excel at any one particular skill, he can provide whatever a team needs. He is capable of playing both on and off the ball and can effectively guard his position. Additionally, he is a good help defender, extremely coachable, and excels at court awareness. Having already participated in some high school games as an eighth grader, he has the potential for continued development and may become one of the best players in his class.
