Ibidapo, a senior forward out of Shea High School, has added multiple dimensions to his game over the last year or so. A long and lean 6’6″ forward, he does a nice job of balancing interior scoring with perimeter playmaking. He’s developed his feel for the game with the ball in his hands, has some wiggle when attacking off the bounce, and is an athletic finisher in the paint. He thrives on the other end of the floor as a versatile defender that can guard in space, rebounds it at a high level, and also provides rim protection.

Ibidapo is a 6’5″ forward out of Shea. The 2026 prospect has a prototypical basketball frame, with positional size and plus length, allowing him to make an impact as an athletic scorer and versatile defender. He’s a strong off-ball cutter that uses his length as a finisher, while also showing a nose for the ball on the offensive glass. Where he really shines is defensively, with his ability to guard all five positions, switch in ball screens, and block shots from the help side. He’s got all the tools to be a standout in the RIIL this winter and will make a college program happy down the road with his swiss army knife skillset.

Ibidapo, a stready riser in our rankings over the last year, may be the most versatile defender in the RIIL. With his impressive combination of positional size, athleticism, and length, Ibidapo has the ability to guard up and down a lineup. He’s one of the best athletes at the forward position in the region and combines that with impressive physical gifts to be a high level rebounder and shot blocker. While he makes a big impact in the paint, he’s capable of sliding onto the perimeter and keeping opposing guards in front of him. He utilizes his length to his advantage as a rebounder and creates plenty of steals and deflections off the ball. Offensively, he is a strong offensive rebounder and does a great job of running the floor in transition. Shea has the talent to be among the RIIL’s best this winter, and if they are, Ibidapo will have a big role.

Ibidapo is one of the state’s top emerging big men. He shines on the defensive end where his physical gifts make him a game changer. A long, lean, and super athletic switchable defender, Ibidapo is already a terrific rebounder and rim protector. Offensively, while still raw, he’s great as a rim runner in transition and as a slashing, rim finisher in the half court. He’ll be fun to follow over the next two years as he continues to turn potential into production.

Ibidapo shines right now as a rebounder and rim protector where his physical gifts give him a major advantage in the paint. He’s physically strong and an impressive athlete that has great instincts and timing as a shot blocker, but has also proven to be quick enough to guard in switches on the perimeter. Offensively, he plays with a high motor and crashes the glass, which allows him to pick up easy buckets at the rim. He shows signs of being able to make an impact as a straight line driver and as his shot comes around, should only see his ceiling continue to rise.
