About Ian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High IQ PG. Plays for his teammates and for the ball to always to find the right spot. Whether it’s a direct assist, hockey assist or taking the shot the ball finds the correct shooter. Intense defender on the perimeter. Great vision on both defense and offense. Excellent helpside defender. Surprises larger players with his ability to block shots and get his hands on passes or on drives.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Never to high or to low during the ups and downs of a game. Just wants to win and does not chase stats. Just W's. Ability to breakdown the opposing team mentally as the game goes on. Coaches depend on him in late game situations to make play calls based on what he sees.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Volunteered at grade school camps as counselor and welcomed back in the future.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Strong leader and sets the example of how to work hard. On the court coach to help teammates be in the right spots. Often guides them to the area of the floor to find success then sets the D up for them to get the shot they need.

What type of college are you looking for?

Great team environment with coaching and staff that value the complete player that just wants to win.
