He scored 16 points on efficient drives and cuts while controlling the defensive glass with 8 rebounds. Berry’s 6 steals were game-changing, repeatedly turning Greenhill’s mistakes into fast-break opportunities. He also dished 5 assists, showing excellent vision and selfless playmaking within Little Elm’s offense. Berry’s versatility, toughness, and defensive dominance made him the most impactful player in the gym.

Ian was a sharpshooting machine for Little Elm on Saturday afternoon. Berry is a very quick and high IQ player who picks his spots well and has no problem firing up shots from deep, even with close defense on him. Ian also knows how to be a consistent playmaker with the ball in his hands and has a knack for finding open teammates anywhere on the offensive side of the ball. I was most impressed with Ian’s off ball movement and this team definitely benefits his style of play with him running around off ball screens and constantly moving even when he does not have the ball in his hands.

Berry impressed with his shooting ability and skillset. He moves well without the ball to put himself in the right positions to score. Can heat up from three and knocks down threes with consistency. His handle is tight and crafty as he uses his handle to break down defenders to score around the basket. Berry plays a smart game and knows how to effect the game with his strengths of shooting and executing.

Berry stands out with his precise passing, quick drives to the basket, and ability to make steals. However, he needs to improve his strength to enhance his overall effectiveness on the court.
