Lyare is one of those lefties who you know is driving to his strong hand, but there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. He’s strong as can be and uses his off hand well, and his touch around the rim is very solid. He consistently flew into defenders in the paint and then finished with body control and lots of contact – he’s an and-one machine. Apparently Lyare didn’t make the BC High varsity team this Winter (which is bizarre, because he would’ve been one of their best players), but he’ll definitely find his way onto a college roster somewhere.
