Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Brown was probably the best defender I saw at WPI’s camp. The 6-foot-2 guard competed every single possession on the defensive end and showcased some pretty special instincts and hands. He slides his feet very well, and he has a knack for beating ball-handlers to the spot and then poking the ball away from them. The Doherty Memorial junior found himself with a TON of fastbreak opportunities as a result of his defensive IQ and hands. Brown did a good job finishing tons of those looks. He’ll need to improve his three-point shot if he wants to be a good D3 player, but he has some time to do so.
