Rasmussen has been a solid player for a couple of years, but last month he posted breakout performances at the DELCO Hoops Shootout and boosted his recruiting stock significantly. The highlight for Rasmussen at that event was a 19-point effort (3 triples) against Neshaminy. Rasmussen owns a versatile, stretch-4 skill set. In addition to lacing threes, Rasmussen can score on quick post ups as well as rolling to the cup out of PnR action. Rasmussen can also put the ball on the deck for drives along the baseline as well as from the elbows and wings. Rasmussen has flashed point-forward passing skills too.   

While Rasmussen is very much a sleeper prospect, he could contribute early in his career at a number of schools across D1 and D3. The perimeter-based forward has a ton of skill, able to knock down spot-up triples at a high clip. And, depending on the matchup, he can take his man off-the-dribble and get to the cup. Rasmussen balances out that finesse on offense with some attitude as a shot-blocker, covering up cracks in the Gators defense.

This weekend Rasmussen displayed a polished stretch-4 skill set. He drained threes and scored in the mid-range as well as in the lane on his way to 19 points against Neshaminy. In close Rasmussen played a physical style of ball. He produced points via quick post up, baseline drives and the offensive glass. Rasmussen finished through contact on multiple field goal attempts. He also operated on the perimeter where in addition to popping threes, Rasmussen was an effective passer. This long and athletic hybrid-forward also flashed the ability to run the floor for fast break buckets. In short, Rasmussen was a match-up nightmare.
