Henry continues to fly under the radar at the forward position. While his junior season at Parkway Central didn’t result in much team success, he gained valuable experience and showed flashes of strong individual play. This summer, Kokal took major strides in his development, competing against high-level talent and significantly improving his all-around game. After adding size and strength to his frame, he became more effective around the basket — scoring with a mix of power and finesse, and finishing with either hand. He also rebounded the ball well and used his length to consistently alter and block shots on the defensive end. Heading into his senior season, Kokal will be counted on to raise his production on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he’ll need to take on a larger scoring role — whether operating in the post or taking advantage of perimeter opportunities. If he can rise to the challenge, Parkway Central has a strong chance to be much more competitive this season.
