About Gregory

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When on the court very locked in with good defense skills

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love playing basketball and I thrive to get better everyday. I take everything my coach and trainers give me and make it my own when I’m on the court. I tend to sometimes be too hard on myself because I don’t like to mess up but I am learning that it’s ok long as I don’t give up. I’m very coachable and love to be their for my team mates

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

As of right now I’m only doing basketball but I have been apart of a leadership club in school. No I didn’t receive any awards from it.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I learn to give positive and negative feedback to my teammates but not in a way to talk down on them but to help them recognize their mistakes and know where they are good at so that they can fix and make it better. They also do the same to me

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Back when I was in the 8th grade I developed epilepsy and it took big part of me mentally because for a long time the doctors and my mom couldn’t understand why I was having them along with having problems with my lungs. I was in and out of the hospital a lot and I couldn’t play basketball like I wanted because I was afraid to have one while playing. Over 2yrs now I am blessed and haven’t had any.

What type of college are you looking for?

My ultimate goal is to play for a D1 school and hopefully get draft or play over sea’s but I am ok to work hard to get there by going to a D2 or D3 school. I’m honestly just allowing God to place me where he wants me to go.

Skinner ran the floor hard, has a good frame, barely missed a putback at the rim but grabbed three offensive boards in one possession alone, played unselfishly on the perimeter to set screens and run DHOs to get teammates open, and did a good job of guarding on the perimeter. Skinner’s best play came on a euro step finish in traffic, scoring off the reverse layup just past the defender. Form looked good on a jumper from the top of the key
