Grant is one of the top post prospects in Wisconsin’s 2024 class, and was making plays on both ends on Sunday morning. I believe he had 9 points on his first five touches in the half-court, as he powered up for 3 finishes, and then went 3/4 from the line after drawing fouls on his other two touches. Keeps the game simple down low, powering up after a hard drop-step. Didn’t showcase it in the game I saw, but from past viewings I know he has a smooth jumper as well. Defensively came away with 2 or 3 blocks, but altered countless other shots. His presence in the paint alone caused opposing players to change their shot around the rim, forcing countless misses as they were more focused on getting their shot off over him rather than making it.

Grant is one of the top post prospects in the 2024 class for a reason. He mixes in high level production with an even higher ceiling due to his physical attributes and intriguing skillset at 6’8-6’9. Moves well at his size with the ability to handle the ball in the open floor. Against Racine St. Cats he showed a smooth mid-range jumper, able to elevate after facing up, or hit a one/two dribble pull-up. Would have liked to see him post up a bit more with his size advantage, but was efficient with the low-post touches he did get. Defensively is mobile enough to move his feet on the perimeter when needed, and is a major shot blocking threat with his ability to move into position from the help-side and quickly get off the floor.

Ranked as the #30 prospect in the state of Wisconsin, this 6’9″ forward dominated the high school season at Marathon before hitting the Chi-Town Tip-Off with Wisconsin Blaze National Inferno 2024. The talented big man averaged 24.0 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks per game as a junior. One of the top big men to watch for college programs coming out to the event this weekend.
