Grant Smith Grant Smith 5'7" | SG GA is an athletic post player who impacts the game in a variety of ways beyond just scoring. He sets physical, well-timed screens that free up teammates and understands how to create offense within the flow of the game. When he catches the ball in the lane, he displays impressive vision, making smart passes out of the post and finding open cutters and shooters when defenses collapse. Smith also rebounds at a high level, using his size, strength, and motor to control the glass on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he has soft touch around the basket with polished post moves, he also showed the ability to be comfortable stepping out from beyond the arc. That combination of interior skill and perimeter shooting makes him a difficult matchup for opposing bigs. His versatility, basketball IQ, and willingness to do the little things make him a valuable front court prospect with plenty of upside.
