BADGE: BRICK WALL 🧱

Brick Wall represents the value of setting effective screens. A strong screen can create separation for a ball-handler, disrupt a defensive assignment and open opportunities for teammates without the screener needing to touch the ball again.

At 6-foot-1, Smith is a player to evaluate for how he uses his frame in screening situations. The important details are his positioning, timing and ability to establish contact without committing an offensive foul.

Boogs Take:

Not every impact play shows up in the scoring column. A well-timed screen can give a teammate the space needed to get downhill or find an open shot. Learning how to make those small plays consistently can add value to a player’s overall offensive game.
