was at his best in the open floor. Grabbing an outlet pass, looking up and surveying the best point of attack, Ross would immediately seek where he and his team could get the easiest two points. When he had the ball in his hands, it was either going up for a layup, or he would find a teammate filling a lane that could go up for two.
If given the ball on the perimeter and a lane to attack the basket, Ross would find a way to get there or dump it off, one time splitting two defenders and nailing a floater over the interior defense.

An off-ball guard who moves really well without the ball in his hands, Ross is in constant motion on the offensive end, forcing his defender to chase him all over the floor. He shoots it well off the catch, making sure to get his feet set so he’s ready to fire immediately on the catch, and he showed some secondary playmaking ability as well.
