Grady saw his production steadily rise at Capital City last season, especially as the year progressed. While the team experienced ups and downs in the win-loss column, he began to fully embrace a primary scoring role. This summer, Payton took another leap forward, showcasing a more dynamic offensive game — hitting shots from the perimeter, crashing the offensive glass, and finishing around the rim with creativity and flash. His length also made him an impact defender, altering shots and protecting the rim with good instincts. As he enters his senior season, Grady will be counted on to be an elite-level producer for Capital City.
