I have been able to watch Oveson play a little this summer, and he is a good young talent. He was one of the grittiest players in the gym. He has an impressive motor. If you just watched him play, you would not be able to tell that he was from one of those smaller rural schools. Oveson is a good athlete, and he could keep up with anyone in any classification. He has good positional size as a CG. You can also see how he is a do-it-all player for his high school team. He is a player with next-level talent.

Oveson has been making a shift in his game this offseason. He is handling the ball much better, shooting the ball better from beyond the arc, and making significant improvements in his decision-making. He is a small school kid who actually has a lot of potential. Oveson has a chance to make some moves this next update, and he also has a chance to make some noise when the high school season commences.
