Hiller had himself a day. He showed off his jumper at the camp. Hiller used a ball fake and a side step to create space and hit the ensuing 3 pointer. Not long after, he connected on multiple catch and shoot triples.

Grady made a bit of noise this summer, especially shooting the basketball. At the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase, I thought he was the better catch-and-shoot guy in the gym. I enjoyed watching the calm nature of his game, a lot of doesn’ts. Doesn’t force anything, doesn’t take bad shots, doesn’t turn the ball over, and doesn’t take possessions off on defense. It’s hard not to like that type of player. It will be interesting to see his transition into high school basketball this winter.

Hiller is a small town guard that could make big time noise this weekend. He’s a skilled guard that can both score and distribute. Hiller could be part of the next generation of Traverse City area talent.
