McGee Jr. is one player that could earn minutes as a Freshman due to his size and overall athleticism along with his high motor. He is an energy player and as he grows and adds to his frame could just be a problem in the talented 2029 class. Rightn now he is a rim runner, shot blocker and intimidator but over time the offensive responsibilities will surely come for this young upstart. Keep an eye on his progress this season.

McGee was one of the most energetic players in the gym. With great size and athleticism, he works tirelessly around the rim, making it difficult for opponents to score easily. His soft touch around the basket, combined with his relentless effort, sets him apart—he’s always a tough matchup for guards hoping for quick, easy buckets. Players matching his size will struggle to outwork him, and McGee’s relentless motor made him one of the most noticeable talents throughout the camp.

McGee is already a problem in the paint thanks to his strong frame, size, and motor. He battled other bigs all day, using his body to carve out position, secure rebounds, and finish around the rim. Defensively, he clogged the lane, altered shots, and made life difficult for both guards and opposing bigs. Beyond his size, McGee impressed with his communication and leadership, constantly talking on defense and directing teammates. He has the foundation of a traditional post player but brings the energy and work ethic that coaches value. As his footwork and touch continue to improve, McGee has the upside to be a dominant interior presence.
