Nelson is an athletic wing who finishes well around the rim and does a great job getting to the free-throw line. He was among the most productive freshmen in the state last season, averaging 11.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game on 46% shooting. He does a nice job utilizing his length and athleticism to his advantage at this level, attacking slower defenders off the bounce and getting to the rim.
