How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a true point guard that is willing to do whatever my team needs in order to win. I believe it’s my job to get everyone involved and get everyone going early in the game because if everyone on the floor is involved and motivated they will play that much harder. It’s also my job to hold people accountable for their effort and their position on the floor while they are in the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

First and foremost all glory to God. He gave me talent to play the game I love and it’s my job to have a great work ethic to develop myself and play for Him. Secondly, I believe my success is directly related to the success of my teammates. I have a loud personality when playing. I talk a lot on both ends of the floor. Off the court I am quiet most of the time.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of FCA and I am on the all A’s honor roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was the captain of my freshman basketball team my 9th grade year and I am the co-captain of the varsity team this year as a 10th grader. I have learned that in order to be a leader you have to be willing to speak up and hold people accountable even when it’s hard. I also help run a basketball league during the summer. I help train younger kids and have been told I am a great role model.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

From the time I started playing in the second grade I was always the smallest person on the floor. I had to work harder and be better than everyone in order to ensure playing time. I was a starter on the freshman team as a 7th grader and have been a starter in every game I’ve ever played so far. I am the best ball handler on my team and the leading scorer on the varsity team as sophomore.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to go to a college where I can really be a part of the team. Where the team plays together and cares about each other and the players are willing to do whatever their team needs them to do and where the coaches encourage that mindset. I would love to stay close to home but am willing to go wherever I need to in order to find the right fit
