What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?
Defense. I enjoy defense and being able to deny or alter shots of anyone entering the paint. I finished last season with 67 blocks which was 1st in the state for the class of 2027 and 8th overall.
What are you working to improve right now?
My overall strength and conditioning. Increase my weight. Become stronger mentally.
What are you looking for in a college program?
I am looking for a program where I can grow and learn. To join in and elevate my game by getting pushed by and challenged by my teammates. This will help me grow as a player and a person.
Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?
I am easy going and enjoy simple things. I work hard, enjoy going to the gym to shoot around or lift. I mow lawns and have worked construction building houses for 2 summers.

‘s size and length jumped out immediately when he stepped on the floor for the eventual high school tournament champions, the Iowa Frost
.
Using his size and length to deter shots at the rim, keep opposing teams out of the paint and force uncomfortable attempts around the basket, Halbach is a smalltown center that knows how to use his size. One of the more physically imposing players in Hiawatha because of how much space he takes up on the floor, Halbach will be a senior to watch this coming winter for Northwood-Kensett.
