He can shoot over defenders inside or drive right by them if gets a full head of steam. Yousif also has a wingspan that he can utilize to grab boards and steals.

Yousif is a guy that I think can improve a lot this year. The height and athleticism are clearly there. So now it will be a matter of him being in the right spot at the right time. Defense is his top skill at the moment, and he will definitely be collecting some blocks this season.

Yousif was a fun player to catch this season. I don’t watch many Del Sol games, so I was fortunate to see him. He has long arms and plays with energy. He’ll need to strengthen his upper frame, but has the speed and quickness to be a future high school small ball four, or wing player.

It was fun watching a player like Yousif for the first time. He seemed to improve from quarter to quarter. The young freshman, is gangly and runs the floor well. When he was at his best, he scrapped, defended and rebounded. Yousif, showed improvment in his hands throughout the game as well. He managed to catch a couple in traffic passes for finishes around the rim.
