Garyn is a speedy, smart combo guard with an elite ballhandling ability and a beautiful shooting touch. His accuracy on his jumpers demands a lot of attention and he has the wherewithal to recognize that and capitalize with a quick drive to the hoop or a well-calculated pass to a wide-open teammate. He has great lift and impressive arc on his jumper that allow him to get his shot successfully over the lengthiest of defenders. High has sneaky, fast hands defensively and makes winning plays regularly on both ends of the floor.

High is a 2028 guard out of College Station High School that stood out against Aldine Davis at the GASO Fall Tour. He brought his shooting touch and playmaking ability to the backcourt creating a strong offensive flow throughout the game. High is a confident perimeter scorer who can knock down shots from the perimeter while also creating opportunities off the dribble. With the ball in his hands he handles the basketball with poise, using his quickness to create separation, and does a good job of getting into the paint to finish or find open teammates. As a playmaker, he demonstrates good court vision and an understanding of how to get his teammates involved while maintaining an aggressive scoring mentality. Defensively, he stays active and uses his anticipation to create turnovers, making him a guard who can contribute on both ends of the floor.

Garyn put together one of his better outings by shooting the ball with real confidence and stepping into shots without hesitation. His rhythm looked smooth, his feet were set early, and he consistently made himself available as a spacing option. What really elevated his impact was talking through actions, calling out coverages, and staying active on every possession. That combination of shot‑making and vocal, engaged defense gives him a clear pathway.
