Wilkins dominated the paint with a massive 23-point, 14-rebound performance, finishing efficiently and controlling the glass. The 6’7” center consistently established deep position and converted around the rim while also protecting it defensively. His physical presence and interior production made him one of the most impactful players on the floor.

There is so much to like about what this young man brings to the table every time he steps on the court. He plays the game with an extremely high motor and is the type of player that you don’t have to run a single play for, but he still can give you 20 Points and 10 rebounds on a nightly basis. If Vance Charter wants to take home the state championship they will need another big-time showing from him.

Wilkins did an incredible job in Vance Charter’s final four victory over Southern Wake by simply being the best version of himself. Wilkins imposed his will on the interior and was integral in the 17 point second half comeback to give Vance Charter a berth in the NCHSAA 1A Title game. In Vance Charter’s 56-52 win, Wilkins finished with 19 Points, 10 Rebounds, 2 Blocks, 1 Assists, and 1 Steal on 6-9 from the floor and 7-7 from the free throw line. Wilkins uses his strength to carve out space on the interior and does a great job using his size + athleticism to wall up and protect the rim on the defensive end of the floor. Wilkins has high quality touch around the rim and showcased how efficient he can be from the line when locked in during this one. Wilkins is a bonafide next level player that is looking to bring some hardware back home to Vance Charter as they’ll be facing Thomas Jefferson Academy for a state title this week.

He’s a throwback big man that does the majority of his work around the rim where he uses his massive frame, length, and mobility to cause havoc on opposing forwards. If Vanced Charter is gonna use their one seed to make an appearance at regionals or even the state championship, expect Wilkins to continue his dominant run.

Wilkins has been one of the most productive interior players this season. A high-energy big with advanced footwork, he scores efficiently with his back to the basket and finishes above the rim. He’s averaging 20 points per game on an impressive 73% from the field, along with 5 rebounds per game. His combination of efficiency, touch, and physical presence makes him a strong candidate for college programs in need of reliable interior scoring.

Wilkins is an emerging prospect for DII/DIII programs in the region to get to know; he’s really come into his own in the No Guts No Glory NC frontcourt with his ability to finish around the rim and in traffic; as he learns to make his presence felt consistently on the defensive end, he’s worth tracking heading into his senior year at Vance Charter

Wilkins is a bruiser in the post who continues his ascent up the 2026 rankings as he moves into the 111th spot. He’s a burden to bear in the post as he’s producing 18.8 points per game through 11 contests. He’s another sizeable name to get to know in the 2026 class given his activity in the painted area.
