“Hand down, man down.” This is a phrase you hear in the basketball world, referring to when someone on defense closes out on a three-point shooter without their hands up. Usually that situation leads to a wide-open jumper and that is what we are referring to. In this situation, you better have a hand up on Garrison Bowhay at all times because if he see’s one go in the basket from distance early on, then it’s going to be a long night for his opponent. During our Showcase, to start things off you could tell immediately that Bowhay was a shooter but to what extent was the real question. Well, once 5v5 starter, Bowhay flipped the switch and was automatic from deep. Hitting several shots from distance in each contest he participated in. There is even more ability that he brings to the table than just this but by far, shooting the ball from long distances is where he thrives. He was one of the best shooters in the gym on the day and there is not question about it.
