#17 – Throughout North Texas, Nuckolls is widely known as one of the most prolific shot makers off the dribble and one of the most deadly off the catch. Garrett has the ideal size and skills for his position, he shoots it from deep insanely well, showing true potential as a 3-point specialist with a remarkable game-changing shooting expertise. Nuckolls has displayed a very consistent jumpshot for some time now,  impeccable shooting form, fluid soft-touch shot release, perfect elevation, and he always keeps his body squared and his eyes locked onto his target until the ball goes through the net. Nuckolls can nail a three-pointer in countless ways whether it’s a spot-up or pull-up jumper after beating his man off the dribble with one of his many tricky moves. The 6-foot-5 sharpshooter had such an amazing junior season that he was awarded the 16-4A District Most Valuable Player of the Year alongside receiving 3 Division 1 scholarship offers from programs such as Troy University, Midwestern State University, and East Central University.
