has been a double double machine all season for medina and it was no different in this tournament averaging 14.6ppg and 11rpg. Gage has a complete inside game using drop steps, step throughs, mini hooks and up n unders. Not only does gage put up big offensive and defensive numbers but his length in the middle and his post presence changes the game and gives medina the edge at that position night in and night out. Chips in each game with couple blocks and steals per game brings alot of senior leadership. Voted to All Region Team

Gage has been putting up consistently big numbers this season and tuesday night was no different as he poured in 20/10 vs district opponent Ekm. Not just an inside threat this year as in years past, gage will step out and nock down the occasional three also. Hes developed a nice mid range game to add to his arsenal. Gage had several offensive rebound putbacks for scores vs Ekm and when he wasn’t able to finish those he found himself shooting freethrows and he has shot alot them this season. At 6’5 his length is disruptive enough inside but then add on the athleticism he has to go with it and you soon see why hes having such a great season and is a very difficult matchup for opposing teams.

Gage keeps showing why he’s one of the better big men around, scoring/rebounding/defending/starting the fast break are all strengths of his. Double doubles are almost marked in the stat book before each game starts. Inside of 15ft hes got as nice touch as any other big you will find, showed he even has a baby hook in this tournament. Tough player and defends multiple positions, has game changing length at 6’6, not as much of a shot blocker as a shot changer but that’s splitting hairs in my book, both for those change the way offensive players attack the basket and Gage’s presence inside is a huge factor for opposing offense’s.
