Gage was one of the more explosive guards I saw on Sunday. On the opening possession of the game he blocked a shot inside, and that was followed up later on by a chase-down block in transition. In the second half he nearly threw down a dunk right over the top of a defender, losing the ball a bit at the top but still converting for two points. He can just lull you to sleep and then explode to the basket out of nowhere.

He is a talented combo-guard. Gage is extremely good at getting downhill and finishing through contact. He plays above the rim and is great at chasing down blocks. Overall, Brommerich is a playmaker who steps up when the team needs stop or a score.

Gage was super tough to stop from penetrating inside in 5v5 action on Sunday. He was never hesitant to take his defender off the dribble, being able to finish through traffic. He liked to go to a spin move when he get inside, opening enough space for a tough finish. Brommerich was also making plays in transition on the defensive end, blocking shots.

Gage may not have put up eye popping numbers, but he did a lot of the little things that help teams win games. I liked the way he competed to move his feet on the ball, and when his man looked to drive he did a nice job of walling up to contest at the rim. Offensively he made some good cuts away from the ball, and was able to get into the lane and kick it out to his shooters on multiple occasions.
