hit perhaps the biggest 3-pointer of his career to date. It brought Notre Dame back within 10 points, down 50-41. The home crowd erupted and yet the Irish still had a hill to climb. Herman also hit both free throws with 1:37 left making it 52-44 Grace.

played tremendous. His scoring was great despite constant challenges. Most of his shots were in the face of perfectly positioned defenders.

1/21/25: One of Gaas’s best plays was an and-1 layup midway through the fourth quarter. He slashed between two defenders and finished high with the left-hand all while drawing a foul. Unfortunately, Gaas and his teammate struggled to score against a sound Tellico Plains team. This season Notre Dame is very short across the squad with only Herman above average (height-wise) for his position. Herman attacked with excellent hunger in the fourth though. He hit a smooth three-pointer to cut it to nine points.
