About Finn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a crafty SG/PG who thrives on precision and smart decision-making. My game is built around a deadly three-point shot, consistent free-throw accuracy and a reliable mid-range jumper that keeps defenders guessing. With elite ball-handling skills and a high basketball IQ, I excel at creating plays, breaking down defenses and finding scoring opportunities for myself and my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a confident and composed court presence, always focused on leading by example and elevating the team. I believe in a team-first mentality, prioritizing smart plays and collaboration to achieve success. My competitive spirit is balanced with a calm demeanor, allowing me to stay focused in high-pressure situations while keeping the team grounded and motivated.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently playing for the West Valley Christian varsity team in the CAA 1A division as well as the middle school team as an 8th grader.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills through my ability to guide and inspire teammates both on and off the court. My teamwork is rooted in trust, communication and a shared commitment to success, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve been fortunate not to face significant challenges, but I remain focused on consistently improving my skills and staying prepared for any obstacles that may arise. I view every practice, game and opportunity as a chance to grow, knowing that resilience and hard work are key to long-term success.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a Division 1 college where I can compete at the highest level of basketball while growing both academically and personally. I value a program that emphasizes teamwork, discipline and development. I also want a school environment that supports student-athletes in achieving their goals on and off the court.
