His release is unbelievably fast, and his touch is pristine from outside. He was ridiculously efficient from beyond the arc, and he was being face guarded throughout this game due to his threat as a shooter. This face guarding did not work, however, because Finley barely needs any space to make you pay from downtown. He hit many threes in this game and hit them at an efficient clip. If given any space, he will light you up off the catch. Due to his elite jump shooting, defenders routinely left their feet to contest his shot, and he was great at sidestepping those defenders and hitting threes on the move and while off balance. Contests in general didn’t seem to bother him much at all.
