Okigweh will head back to the mid-atlantic when he attends Shepherd University. A big time athlete on the wing, Okigweh is electric in transition on both ends of the floor. He’s a long and lean athlete that runs the floor well and has a good feel off the ball as a cutter. He’s ultra versatile, a swiss-army knife type of prospect that can impact the game in multiple ways. Defensively, he can guard up and down a lineup utilizing his length, athleticism, and motor to make an impact. He’s a good rebounder and is a disruptive off-ball defender too. He gives Shepherd a nice piece that still has a lot to unlock and it wouldn’t suprise me if he develops into one of the best wing defenders in the PSAC.
