Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Reeves finalized his plans for the next four years with a commitment to Tufts University. A physical and athletic presence at the forward position, Reeves generated scholarship level interest during his recruitment before commiting to the Jumbos. He’s an above the rim athlete that also has the ability to consistently knock down shots from the perimeter. He can play in ball screens as either a rim roller or spacer, is a strong straight line driver, and has a nose for the ball on the offensive glass. He’s a versatile defender that moves his feet well and should be able to play in multiple ball screen coverages, while also providing rim protection as the back line of defense. He profiles as an instant impact recruit for Tufts and could quickly become one of the better stretch forwards in the NESCAC.

Reeves turned a strong summer into his first Division I scholarship offer and hasn’t looked back since. The modern day stretch-four is a good verticle athlete that has deep range on his jumper. Reeves’ offense is probably farther ahead than his defense right now as he’s shown that he can score in multiple ways while also being a willing ball mover. His ceiling has continued to rise due to his willingness to be physical and mix it up inside. He’s quick enough to guard down a position and strong enough to guard up one. As we move closer to the spring, he could be a very nice late get for a low-major program that’s looking for a big who’s capable of making shots from the perimeter.

Entering his 2nd season at Wilbraham & Monson, Reeves is coming off a strong summer that saw him earn his first scholarship offer from NJIT. Profiling as a modern day stretch-4, Reeves has the size to play on the interior as well as the skillset to drag bigger defenders to the perimeter. He’s shown the ability to consistently knock down shots from the perimeter and has proven effective in pick-and-pop situations. A good athlete, he’s shown some versatility on the defensive end and should be able to keep opposing guards in front of him on the perimeter in switching situations.
