Joshua Burish | Prep Hoops Scout
Nagler finished tied for a team-high 17 points, going 9-for-10 at the free throw line where he looked unfazed. All of his scoring came either at the rim or from the stripe, consistently making key plays.
He did a strong job reading the defense, showing good timing on backdoor cuts that opened up lanes inside Lake Forest’s defense. Beyond the scoring, Nagler brought a high motor, chasing down offensive rebounds and creating extra possessions through sheer effort.
Defensively, his activity level stood out. His hands were constantly active, generating steals, tips, and disruptions both on the ball and in gaps.

Nagler is an in-between guard with good positional size. I liked his offensive versatility he showed throughout the two games I saw off him. He showed that he can get a bucket in a matter of seconds. Nagler took advantage of what the defense gave him. He processes the game at a high level. He is a prospect who should see a ton of high academic schools get involved in his recruitment.

Nagler was the second leading scorer for Deerfield with 7 points. The guard made several crafty plays off the bounce and was good defensively including an impressive block on a jump shot.
