Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Hammer is a really good, bouncy athlete who finishes at a high clip around the rim, using his size and athleticism advantage to finish above defenders. He has really good hands and soft touch around the rim. In addition to scoring around the rim, he showed good court vision and passing instincts, finding open teammates cutting to the rim off the backside. He rotates well on the defensive end and has good timing as a shot blocker. He had 22 points on 10-19 shooting to go with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks in the Tigers’ loss to Winterset.

A prospect people need to get on board with ASAP. All around player and playmaker with a whole lot of skill accompanied with great size at 6’5. He does a little bit of everything on the floor for his teams. He is fast and in control when attacking off of the dribble, keeps his head up on all occasions to see the open court, and can finish at the rim with authority. He is very “springy” in his movements near the basket on defense, making him more capable of grabbing a block or two, per contest. Type of player that you love to have on your team but would hate to play against.
